School Philosophy
Nikkei Japanese Language School was founded in 1986 and is one of the oldest Japanese language schools in Hong Kong. It has nearly 40 years of experience in running Japanese language schools. Nikkei has three school buildings wholly owned by Nikkei School, located in Jordan, Mong Kok and Causeway Bay, ensuring that it can provide students with a stable and high-quality learning environment.
After a long period of preparation and application, some of our school's courses were recognized by the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework in 2023 and were included in the list of reimbursable courses under the Continuing Education Fund, ensuring that our school's administrative structure, course content, arrangement and teaching staff are all in line. Strictly supervised and guaranteed. In addition to being supervised by the government, our school also has a "quality assurance mechanism" certified by the government. Curriculum design, teaching material production, and instructor training are strictly carried out in accordance with the above mechanism to ensure the quality of our school's teaching.
CEF Qualification
Nikkei currently has three courses registered in the Qualifications Register, and the courses are also included in the list of courses eligible for reimbursement under the Continuing Education Fund.
The courses are Japanese language elementary certificate course (N5 level) equivalent to Japanese Language Proficiency Test N5 level, Japanese language elementary and intermediate certificate course (N4 level) equivalent to Japanese Language Proficiency Test N4 level, and Japanese language equivalent to N3 level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test. Service Scope
Nikkei Japanese Language School is a Japanese language school that provides professional pure Japanese education services. Team Introduction
Nikkei has a large team of professional teachers. The team is composed of Japanese teachers with professional qualifications and professional local teachers who hold N1 level and have completed the school's teacher development courses. Among them are a new generation of young teachers who are full of youthful vitality. There are also many senior teachers with decades of teaching experience.
In terms of teacher selection, in addition to having the specified academic qualifications and Japanese language qualifications, enthusiasm for Japanese language education is also the most important part of Nikkei’s recruitment of teachers. After passing the rigorous recruitment process, they must also accept the qualifications provided by Nikkei A series of on-the-job training to ensure that all teachers clearly understand Nikkei’s teaching policies, concepts and teaching methods.
According to the quality assurance mechanism established by Nikkei, the academic director will regularly observe classes and give feedback to all teachers. School Environment
Our three campuses are located in the center of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. They are the main campus in Jordan, the Mongkok branch and the Causeway Bay branch. All three campuses are Nikkei's own properties, which can provide students with a safe and stable place to attend classes. Each school building has a rest area for students to review or study on their own outside of class. The classrooms are decorated with different themes such as Japanese life, traditional or pop culture, scenery, etc., and are also equipped with complete teaching equipment. , the lighting and flooring are also specially designed to ensure sufficient light to provide students with the best learning environment.
Jordan Main School
The main campus in Jordan is located next to Exit B2 of Jordan MRT Station, on the first and second floors of the Gaoji Building. The school has 11 classrooms. It also has the main office of Hello Japan, a study abroad center, which provides a large amount of information about studying in Japan and employment.
Mong Kok School
The Mong Kok branch is located on the fourth and fifth floors of the Presidential Commercial Building in Mong Kok. There are a total of 14 classrooms in the school. The school is about 5 to 10 minutes away from Mong Kok MTR Station and Yau Ma Tei MTR Station. It is located in the center of Mong Kok and has convenient transportation links.
Causeway Bay School
The Causeway Bay branch is located on the third floor of the Jian Defeng Commercial Building in Causeway Bay. There are a total of 6 classrooms in the school. The school building is about 3 minutes away from Exit C2 of Causeway Bay MTR Station, and is close to large shopping malls such as SOGO and Times Square. The location is convenient.
